Over the next few months, we’ll have a chance to hear from one of my favorite occupational therapists, on the subject of rest. Today, I’d like to e-introduce you to occupational therapist, Dr. Brittany Conners and invite you to read her LinkedIn article, “The Importance of Recharging”.

Dr. Conners is keenly aware of the role rest plays in creating the conditions to do the things we need and want to do in our everyday living. Today, you will see she invites us to consider how we tend to recharging our devices with great care and invites us to notice what our devices may have to teach us about the need for rest.

In August, we’ll hear more about how she is addressing this need in her community through retreats that make space to pause. You’ll see how her business is aptly named, Optimistic Theory, as she creates offerings that make the everyday needs of living and adulting fun.

For now, you’re invited to check out the link below and notice how this applies for you- if you wish— let’s learn from one another—we welcome your comments below.
