Clouds and Being

Clouds and field.jpg

“Thirty-nine years of my life had passed before I understood that clouds were not my enemy; that they were beautiful, and that I needed them. I suppose this, for me, marked the beginning of wisdom. Life is short.”
Iimani David

There are some days that the sky perfectly matches our mood or invites us to sync up to it and other days it stands in stark contrast to our current state. The picture above reminds me of what it feels like to embrace all of it.

Is it just me, or do numerous white, large and puffy cumulus clouds make the sky seem more expansive? They remind me to widen my lens, wait for more possibilities to appear, and demonstrate there is room for all of it— and it is necessary.

What do the clouds have to teach us about being, the beauty, necessity and purpose of all the forms and shapes clouds take?
